You could try Ross, Dress Barn.... I buy dresses at thrift stores that are extremely inexpensive, gently used, and yet very pretty. A lot of people don't like to try second hand stores, but just remember that sometimes people give us clothes and the colors don't work well on us or we outgrow an outfit, and these are the clothes you can find in thrift stores. Meanwhile, Target and Wal-Mart have cute stuff, even.

go to a second hand store. Better yet, get on a plane and come to an Asian market. But you'll spend a lot more than $60 on the plane ticket...

Mandee's is definatly the best place for them. They have a lot of really nice dresses that aren't terribly expensive.

depending on your style you may be able to find something at the Burlington Coat Factory. i have been able to get really great dresses at low prices there.
