I'm an old-timer, so, for me the best thing about high school was that it was a relatively carefree time in my life where I could enjoy a number of friendships and make fairly good grades without having to study a whole lot. These were great years for me!

The Diploma ... it is something to leave behind and once that diploma is in one's hands .. then the REST of one's life opens up. The REAL important thing is to have good grades so that one can be accepted at a good university/college for further study.

Knowing you don't have long before it's all over...I hated school. I didn't like having to get up so early. Then you got college. That is much better

The whole adventure of it all. Making new friends, dealing with adolesence....falling in love.....it's the whole package!! I wish I was back in high school!
