why do i see 1111?

Question

i've ask this question before but i need someone with general knowledge of numerology to tell me what 1111 could stand for? people tell me that its all in my head but alot of people see this number too could it be because the number stands out because of 4 straight parallel lines and it just happens to come across our heads so we notice it more often then other numbers?

Everytime you look at a number, you discredit the times when it is not 1111 or any of the numbers you expect. You make an active decision to only remember the times you see 1111. You have a self-fullfilling prophecy. If you think you only see 1111, then you're going to be looking for 1111 and you are not going to realize that you're selectively hunting for this phenomena. It is not occuring by chance, you're doing it to yourself on purpose.

Numerology's got nothing to do with it. Of course 1111 is more visually recognizable at a glance that 2653. And it's easy to remember. It's a good choice for someone to use whenever they have some discretion over what four digit number to use (as in telephone number), so yes you might see it more often than some other forgettable 4 digit number.

Plus, now that you've started obsessing about it, naturally you're going to notice that pattern and make a big deal about it every time you run across it.

I see it all the time too! I always seem to look at the clock at 11:11. For a while, it was practically every day, but now that number doesn't seem to appear quite as often. It still shows up occasionally though, maybe a few times a week.
