My parents are stupid and I have no friends. Right now, I am writing on a man's lap top at the grocery store before it closes. But I have been gone from home for a day now and it is freezing cold outside. I am 19 and my parents are stubborn so I am wondering... Where would you go to if you had no friends, no respectable parents, it's freezing cold outside , and it's night and everything is closed? I am kinda of scared to ring random people's doorbells to ask them if I can hang out at their place? Would you all let me in if I did that to you. I don't want to be out in the cold all by my self. YOU GUYS, I'm scared.

The store is about to close. I don't really want to go home. My parents won't let me do anything. For pete sake, they give me a bedtime of 10:00 p.m. and I am 19 years old. They give 2 hours of time to watch TV and use the internet. I cannot hang out or leave the house in less it's on weekends. Anyway, I was fed up and expressed it pretty good so I don't think I can go home. As for churches, they are big and scary around here. Big buildings that look creepy at night. Yea, the streets are dangerous and the cops would drop me off at some weird shelter with weirdoes. I've been there before. I liked the idea of calling my relatives, but I only know my grandparents number and they will just yell at me for causing trouble at home. I asked this fellow in the gas station if he would let me sleep at his house and he rejected. :( I wish I hadn't been so shy in highschool and made more friends. Screw it! I'm going to our neighbors house. She's old and is always baking us cookies. It's late tho.

Go home for now. You could be in danger. There are many who will give you the right answer to your difficulties but not tonight. This I promise. Put up with your parents for another day.
If you are schooling, see your school counsellor. Others here have given you good advice. Trust all our judgements. All will be well. Just go home for now. Not everyone who may offer you a place to stay tonight is thinking of your best interest. So go home. Go go go go.

Listen, once you "run" away, you will see how good you really have it at home. You have food,a roof over your head so you can sleep and know someone won't get it.
On the street you will be used and abused, what will you do for food.Job.money?
Parents try, they really do.They love their kids and they try to understand teens.Just like you need to try and understand your parents. Sounds like you are also stubborn.

Sleep on it in your warm bedroom....Please..You will be glad you did.
Things happen on the street that you don't want to know about. You will never have another good nights sleep, never a hot warm meal, that you know who and whats in it. A bath, within 3 days you will wish you could just wash your hair.
Creeps on the street will promise you great things if you only go with them...If you go,you might not ever be seen alive again.
Please go home to your bed and thank the good lord for your parents,,bed, blankets, bedroom, phone you can use, radio, bathroom, maybe you have a dog?
It really can get better at home.Do what you have to,to get out and become a young working person in our world.
Please!!

Go to a place of worship.........especially a Catholic church since there may be a possibility that someone resides there. How about a shelter for the homeless? I don't anyone is going to be brave enough to let you into their home if they don't know you. Good luck!

Go to a church , a police station, or the Salvation Army. Any of these establishments should be able to find you a safe bed for the night.

Contact the local police or a church...they will get you to a shelter where it's safe and warm until you figure out what you want to do.

At 19 your not a child by legal standards but your actions seem to be child like. Call your local teen hot line they will be able to direct you to a mental health facility that can help you.
