At my university we're having a whole week devoted to the American Revolutionary War. There's going to be a banquet where everyone has to dress up. I really don't want to dress up like everyone else (an indian, a frontier girl, a housewife, Betsy Ross, etc....) Do you have any creative ideas? I want people to say "Wow, Paige. I never thought about that." Tell me what you think!

Go as Crispus Attucks. He was the first man killed in the Boston Massacre. He was half black, half Indian, so dress up in period clothing, poke some holes in it and get some fake blood. You can go as an American martyr and the first to die at the hands of the redcoats.

Dress as Mel Gibson did in the patriot. Long sleeve white cotton shirt, tight fitting leather pants, long leather boots, with one of those funny hats and with a couple of toy rifles slung across your back and call yourself a female patriot.
