Generally, economics does not properly account for public goods, (those which have societal costs but no direct cost to the consumer, such as pollution or free rangeland) and can result in the overuse of these resources. This is the 'tragedy of the commons" problem famous in economics, which describes what happens when some reources do not cost users anything directly, and so more is used than is economically viable.

Economics can also be utilized to justify decisions that are not good for the society as a whole. Economics does not measure intangible factors, such as income inequality, that many people regard as important in assessing the value of a system to society. without some moral judgement, disparity does not skew an economic analysis, and when one person gets everything and the rest of society gets very little, it is economically the same as everyone getting a similar amount.
Economics needs to be tempered by common sense and our general idea of what is beneficial to society to be used properly. At its best, economics can help policy makers determine the best path for society, but without the judgement of policy-makers, it can lead to decisions that do not benefit society because it does not take into account everything that is valued in society.

Your question doesn't seem to be very specific.

Economics is a subjects which allows people to understand money matters including monetary policy, fiscal policy etc which touches and influences all the aspects of an economy. But this is the first time am seeing somebody asking about the problems and disadvantages of a subject itself. Very strange.

Please ask a specific question and you will get lots of responses in this forum.
