The most overlooked issue today in America is that children are being denied two things fundamental for healthy human development - they need human milk on demand for at least two years and they need to be with mommy nearly 24/7 for the first five years of life. Parenting is so poor in America at this point that I don't know how we'll function as a society soon.

The biggest issue not being addressed today is support
for the middle class family and worker. They make
up the fabric of our family life, define the American work ethic
and are yet the least appreciated....except during elections.

The way the wealthy handle their money.
Whether it be for political gain, whether it be many of their refusal to pay their workers enough to live on, while they pay their CEO's millions of dollars a year.
If we stopped squabbling over immigration, wars, those who started wars, and other issues that we are being manipulated by, and focused on how the wealthy deal with their wealth, many of the nations extreme problems could be solved quite simply.

taxation and what americans get for their taxes.
Not healthcare. Not emergency services (if you live in the poor side of town) Not competitive education (if you live on the poor side of town)
The middle class in america is the poorest middle class of any of the G8 countries. One working middle class person is usually enough to have a house car and send kids to college.
Not in america.

The fact that income tax is completely unconstitutional and the money it draws in primarily funds the IRS. It is actually just a mechanism of government intrusion into the lives of its citizenry.

Education. I am seriously fearful of sending my child to school.
I think they need to raise the standards and make sure kids know what they need to know before they graduate.
There are too many stupid people out in the world today, why add to it?
