Let's see. The idea that "all men are created equal" would be considered liberal. The whole "let's free the slaves thing" would probably be considered liberal, as would the Civil Rights movement. Votes for women--that worked out pretty well. Freedom of speech; I support that one. The fact that we're allowed to be on this website arguing and insulting each other is actually pretty cool, considering the world our forefathers came from.

I agree with most of ed-mike's list!!! But not the safe food part, and I am not 100% convince of the equal pay part, at least not all the time!!!
