Give her 3 red roses. 1 for the past 1 for the present and 1 for the future. Put the ring on the 3rd rose and propose to her.

My friend was proposed to over Christmas he put the ring in the middle of coal and put it in her stocking. It was very sweet.

Another friend found her ring in the middle of a box of chocolates on Valentines day. He unwrapped them every carefully and re taped them so she wouldn't know they had been opened.
