In trying to get a better understanding of how people think I would like to be able to compare questions and answers on a broader scale.

The only other sites that I can think of off the top of my head where comments are rated are Slashdot.org and Amazon.com.

Googling around a bit, http://www.answerbag.com/ appears to be very similar to Yahoo Answers.

I am sorry i don't know any-other sites like this one, i think yahoo answers is good,
i have a suggestion, i have been reading and trying to understand mind(tried books on psychology), if you have not yet read BLINK then do sure give it a try.

there a similar site with MSN live. Just take a look at live.com, but really crap. Not good as this one.
