In international, or league play? Does anybody know? Seems like it'd basically be impossible!

it is not hard because the goalkeeper blocks the whole goal with his body.

My guess is, it is next to impossible, and not just because of the difficulty of saving the shots. If the keeper saved the first three, and his team had scored three, the game would be over. If he saved the first four, his team would only need to have scored 2 of their first 4 tries - or 2/5, if they shot first.

i don't think there is any goalkeeper who saves all 5 penalty shoot-outs. if one team converted all 3 successive penalties & the other team has 3 penalties being saved in succession. the game is over with a 3-0 penalty shoot-out scoreline!!

Not very often at all. But some has done it.
I think only Lev Yashin has done so.
