Mild morning sickness is common for many women. If you want to make sure, you check with your doctor and tell him/her that you will be travelling from when to when and is it okay for her to travel and ask the necessary preparation and medication if it is emergency. I travelled to HongKong (4 weeks pregnant), Macau (8 weeks pregnant), USA (3 months pregnant) and Burma (6 months pregnant) and I had no problem. If you are going by plane, try to tell the airline staff in check in counter that your wife is pregnant and you need an aisle seat and front seat so that it's good for her to go out to the restroom as well as off the aircraft.because pregnant women go to restroom a lot. You can also request the flight attendants about certain food. if she can eat more than 1 meal, ask them. tell them she is pregnant and she must eat every 2 hours. Pregnant women should eat small meal too many times instead of one big meal. So, about small meal every 2 hours. If you are travelling with business or First class, you will have a better opportunity to request the special request for pregnant woman. Anyway, Congrat! and Good Luck.

About the disease in that country, you should avoid dirty food and try to eat healthy food plus clean restaurant. get information of doctors, hospital, emergency services of that country for extra caution. Take pregnatal vitamins regularly and don't let the immune go down so that it shouldn't be a problem unless she has certain conditions.

She'll be ok! Indonesia is ok even if it's very far. I worked there for a year, just make sure she's going to bring some american meds for diarrea or nausea or vomiting. You never know...and tell her to drink bottled water. No need of vaccination!

Yes - should be fine. Air travel in the early stages is ok, unless she has specific complications. Check with her doctor if you are unsure.

Assuming that your spouse is healthy, flying should be no difficulty. Many flight attendants fly even as pregnant ! you may pick to be somewhat extra careful interior the ninth month !

Does she need any special vaccinations to go? She'll have to ask her doctor. If not, she should be fine.
