I live in Iran, why do so many of my country's people want to see Americans killed?

Well I think it is because of Isreal, and the United States dogged determination to protect it at all costs. That and the United States bullying techniques in other countries to dominate the oil and money.
The United States (and I am a citizen of the United States, and I love it here, love my country) needs to just mind our own business and not meddle in other countries affairs. I am ashamed of the United States for invading and now occupying Iraq. Now, our entire military cannot do what one man (Saddam Hussein) did--that is, keep the peace in Iraq. I know he wasn't the greatest guy, but really, it wasn't our business to meddle in their affairs.

Well, Jake, I think that's pretty complex. First of all, I don't think there are many people who have been to American and know many Americans who hate America. If you look at how popular American movies, music, fashion, and culture in general is around the world, you'd think America is the most LOVED country in the world.
There are a few political movements that are anti-American. Islamism--the idea that free will must be subjugated to sharia law--cannot tolerate America since it is the beacon of freedom in the world. Socialism, communism, fascism are the same.
Then there are Americans who go around saying that America is widely hated to support their agenda for internal political change. Personally, I don't think we should worry whether or not people like us. Just like I don't worry about whether or not people like me, I treat people right and respect myself, that's what's important.

I doubt you are actually in Iran but will answer anyway: Iranians are a people with a huge ego and nothing to back it up. It galls them that a mostly secular, Christian country is the greatest nation on earth. Like the Soviets did, they oppress their own people and keep them from being really great.

People in the U.S.A. , called Liberal Democrats & many Democrat senators who have started trash talk about the United States because they lost two presidential elections and can not seem to get their socialist / communist agendas off the ground .
Forget about it . People are still risking life & limb to get to the greatest country in the world : U.S.A.

Not jealous. American foreign policy likes to muck with the way the rest of the world lives their lives. American domestic policy (or lack thereof) is killing our planet at an exponential rate. You do the math.
