Hey, Moses, the guy who God gave the ten commandments to married a black woman, Moses sister spoke out against him for marrying a ethiopian, (black woman) God struck her with leprosy for speaking out against Moses for the black woman he had married, for he had married an ethiopian woman. Now, If God, creator of the Universe, and all menkind says it's o.k. Then by all means, it should be o.k. for every American if that is what they want to do. Many people say it is being "unequally yoked" au contraire, the Bible is talking about spiritual yoking. Hope this helps a lot of people to understand the way is should be.

In my opinion, there's nothing sacred about race, and it shouldn't matter that two people of different races marry anymore than people of different nationalities, or different hair color or eye color get married. It really should be a non-issue.

There are also many biracial people that I'm attracted to and admire. They wouldn't exist without interracial relationships. That's kind of a superficial aside, I really support interracial marriages because I just don't think it should be an issue.

Also, someone upthread said that every marriage is interracial if you think about it. I can also add that every marriage is incestual if you think about it. Anthropologists say that we are all related to each other. We all have common ancestors somewhere down the line.

Each time I'm asked this question by a co-worker, I'm sadden that we have not progressed to the point of not accepting people as human beings. My feelings on interracial marriage is go for it, if it makes you happy. No one else can walk in your shoes; however, you can not put on blinders to the fact that others won't be so nice. And you need to have answers/explanations for your children for the cruel people and cruelty that may come their way. I feel you must not take on all battles regarding this issue but not ignore some that should be addressed. Sometimes one person can make a difference but save some energy to comfort your spouse and children when it may be necessary. The world is a cruel place and we can only make our personal space a haven. Congradulations and many joyous days.

I am planning to get married soon and couldn't be happier when two adults find love together and decide to marry. What wonder, terrific luck. I just don't see that race should enter into the equation. I truly believe that if someone in the 21st century still has a problem with interracial marriage, that person simply hasn't experienced a secure, committed romantic relationship yet.

What's interracial? You both belong to the human race.

Seriously though
You may have a tough time if her family is traditional Korean. Koreans can be very xenophobic. How will your family react is also a factor, racism is an equal oportunity offender.

If you love each other you can make it work. Treat each other with love and respect and your inlaws will see that and accept your marriage.

And if that doesn't work having grandchildren will mellow them.

Best of luck.

I dont care. It shouldnt be anyones concern other than the two parties involved. There might be some culture differences but Love can over see that. Have a great marriage and may your childre not encounter stupid ignorant racist people that might have something to say about your union!

When two people love each other, they legitimise their union with a marriage and it applies to anybody alive. What people think or say is no determinant of how the two feel so continue making those beautiful kids

Marriage is a union between two partners who want to commit to one another for life. Whether they are of difference races or different sexes makes no different -- the commitment is the same.

I'm a middle aged white guy, and I've always liked to see racially mixed couples because: I like variety, and contrasting visuals, and also because I admire the couple involved. Looking at a racially mixed couple tells me they have guts, and I admire that. It also tells me that they know what's really important in life, and it's not color or race, it's love.
