Acoording to the website that i read about BANANA, it helps to relief heartburn. Try it! I will give you the link. Good Luck.
Heartburn: Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body so if you suffer from heart-burn, try eating a banana for soothing relief.
Morning Sickness: Snacking on bananas between meals helps to keep blood sugar levels up and avoid morning sickness.

Hi Shari
Home Remedies for Heart Burn:
1. Just eat 5 or 6 raw ALOMONDS no salt nothing with in 5 min. or so heartburn will be gone .
2. Drink couple of ounces of Aloe Vera Juice. Get from any health food stores. Heartburn goes away fast and try this every time you have it or before you eat
3. Take One tablespoon of Distilled White Vinegar at the onset of heart burn.
4. RAW Carrots, Potatoes and Apple. You can grate or eat whole, a carrot or a Potatoe or a apple. THESE ARE ALL ACID NEUTRALISERS.
5. For heart burn eat two peppermint candies or use one drop of peppermint oil on tongue. heart burn will subside in 5 mins
6. club soda has baking soda, which of course remedies this problem. however, it tastes better than mixing baking soda and water at home and works just as well.
7. Eat LOTS of raw broccoli to kill heartburn. The fiber in the broccoli will bind to the acids and provide excellent relief
8. For immediate relief of heartburn, eat one tablespoon of brown sugar.
9. Chew raw ginger or take ginger tablets
Foods to avoid
Some foods are not easily digested and can prompt bouts of indigestion among susceptible people and this results in acidity and heart burn. Avoid pickles, fried foods, hot spicy foods, chocolate, pastries, and raw salad vegetables like onion, radish, cabbage, and peppers. Cut down on alcohol since it increases stomach acidity, strong coffee and tea can cause irritation and fizzy drinks can produce wind. Unripe fruits are high in pectin, which is hard to digest so it has to be avoided.
Precaution
Do not eat just before going to bed.
Avoid irregular and hurried meals.
Stop smoking and cut down on alcohol.
Follow yoga or some exercise to reduce stress.
Drink plenty of water.
Best of health to you

I would say anything with lots of calcium should help. I drink milk or eat yogurt or something when I have heartburn and it seems to help. I would say try and get Tums whenever you can to help as well.

I had to go to eating small snacks throughout the day, never drinking more than a few ounces of water at a time. That helped more than anything. And not eating/drinking within a few hours of bedtime.
Don't take anything over the counter unless your physician has approved it for pregnancy.

Try a product called Gaviscon - it is an emulsion which lines your stomach and prevents reflux (cause of heartburn).
