12-16 weeks is the norm hon. it's probably bloating...which is an early pregnancy symptom like nausea and vomiting, dizziness and fatigue etc.

You still aren't showing much if at all by 7 weeks pregnant, though you might start noticing a small pooch look to your lower abdomen. You may find that your favorite pair of jeans is much less comfortable during pregnancy at 7 weeks than your worn pair of baggy sweatpants. You might start thinking about maternity clothes. Still, by and large most people will not be able to detect your pregnancy yet as you won't start really showing until many weeks in the future. I did start showing somewhat early with my second and third pregnancies, but I just tend to have HUGE babies!!!!! :) Congrats and good luck to you!!!!

My friend had twins a while back, she showed earlier then people with one baby but seven weeks seems really early. Its possible that you don't have due date right and you could be more pregnant then you think. With twins you will get bigger then if you were having one so it may very well be that you showing just a little bit though i've never heard of it

Well, when I was pregnant, I showed very fast, I never lost that look in the 1st weeks, that I was just bloated, and was about to get my period.
I guess being thin and petite made me show more, too.
I ended up having only one, (at 10 wks, i saw him on the sonogram), wow, that was sooo cool!
I only gained your average 20LBS, and had a son, weighing in at 7.5 lbs., but he was LONG... 22 inches! LOL.
You'll soon find out if your are having twins, in the weeks to come, however, I know several women, who never knew, even with the sonogram, and were shocked, when they delivered TWO! hahaaa! I loved it!
Good Luck to you, have a happy pregnancy, and enjoy motherhood, it's great, it's hard, it's nuts at times, but it's allll worth it! Take care!

You may show earlier - however everyone is different.
You could be simply bloated - just like you can be when getting your period or you may be holding a bit of fluid.
I had a friend who told everyone she was pregnant at 4 weeks and then went around showing everyone her protruding 'baby' belly at 8 weeks and she was simply pushing out the little bit of tum she had there before or she was either holding fluid! It was a tad pathetic. Most people don't show until about 16 weeks onwards, obviously depending on what you are wearing and what your size was before.

You're just self conscious because you aren't used to being pregnant. ;-)
Two days after your precious little one is born, you'll feel like the skinniest woman alive just because that tummy is gone!
With my 2nd baby I think I started showing about 5 minutes after conception. With 1st baby it took a while, but by 12 weeks I couldn't wear any of my pants anymore.

you might have twins, luck you.
Twins take up alot more room, so you could be showing already. and since twins run in both your famlies, you have a high chance of conceiving twins.

twins run in my family too. But showing at 7 wks i don't think so because they are just microscopic dots right now i think maybe you had better watch your weight.
