If you use cycletrader.com, beware of how you list or search for your bike.

I have a Honda VTX1300. I made the mistake of listing it with a space between the VTX and the 1300 (VTX 1300 instead of VTX1300).

Well, when you search either one, you only got half the bikes so whoever was looking could possibly not see the other half for sale.

I don't know which is best, but craigslist worked for me.
Price I paid for the bike was high/average (for the bike alone), but there were some GOOD extras included. All told, more than fair deal.

You can try your local sales network. Just type into your search engine local sales network and if there is any where you live, you will find it. I have one here that has a hundred mile radius and you can post your items for sale free.
