It keeps falling over its on my desk I finally had to tie it to the wall.

Is it the kind that can be transplanted outdoors? Then I would suggest you follow the nursery's directions before transplanting.
If you don't know what the nursery said and they may be closed it would be best to google the name on line.
No intentions of transferring it outside, then it should be taken down soon. Hope this helped and have a great day.

If its just a mini tree like two and a half feet or so then its more like a winter time decoration, so don't bother till the weather is a bit warmer and there is less snow.

Well, most people I know have Christmas decorations down
and back up in the attic. You've left it up this long...heck...
leave up until next Christmas. That's what some people
do with the lights they string on the house.

depends on how you feel about it. does it make you happy to look at it? does it remind you of a happy memory? if it sparks some sort of happiness i say leave it up longer. but if its just bc its a chore you dont really feel like getting to just yet, then i say get it over with
