there will still be expected rain in the month of February that may lead to other floods in Jakarta, and may not. Certain area are still flooding, but the flood has already drying up on the main street as of today. Business and activities are recovering already. Although some phone lines are still cut off. Some business are still closed. Shopping Malls and Hotels are open as normal in Sudirman or CBD area, although you may expect very heavy traffic due to the block roads affected by the floods during rush hours.

We do not expect heavy rain in March, so hope that there will not be flooding by then, especially in late March.

Heavier flood then yesterdays may completely block the road from airport to downtown during the rain and you may have to wait for the flood to dried up or lowered to ground, till cars can passed by. Since we do not expect heavy rain like what happened these few days by March, you need not be worry.

Worse case should you arrive in Cengkareng airport anytime in the future and faced with the flood situation, you can check the information if the road is clear or not, if not, there is a hotel in the airport, upon arrival, and i suggest you can stay there first overnight if necessary to wait the flood to dried up, instead of going through to the city since it may take over 5 hours when flooding or you may forced to go back to airport. You can find a nice restaurant in the hotel and enjoy their special food called "sup buntut" (oxtail soup) first, then check out when the situation is better.

Be prepare for the traffic jam on the way to the city, so some snacks on hand would be comforting. You still be able to enjoy nice hotels and malls in downtown. Suggested to book hotel early, since during the floods many people are jumping in to hotels.

By late March though.. you should expect no flooding, all in normal condition. So need not be worry, enjoy your honeymoon

Usually the flood will last around 2-3 weeks. By March, the flood will all be gone. So you shouldnt be too worried about your honeymoon.

well.. i'm sure the flood won't be lasted for 1 month..
but i told u that by the end of feb till march, it is time when the transformation from wet to dry season.. so wandering in jkt by foot may humiliate both of u..
u could feel sun brights too shiny and 5 minutes later, u'll find urself all wet from head to toe.. so dun 4get to take ur vitamins..
Then for food, i think it's not a big prob.. there's a lot franchise restaurant there.. but if u want to taste the traditional 1, prepare ur stomach.. they never guarantee the hygiene aspect..

i hoped u won't forget java.. coz evrything's there is nice.. maybe it takes time for u to adapt with the heavy pollutions, hectic roads, etc.. but when u discover deeper n deeper bout this island, u won't regret.. the culture, people, food.. it's hard to forget..
oh yea.. also, u may feel like Paris n Nicole there coz evrything is cheap^^
