i have progressive on my sportster. also used progressive with my 750 yammie, and it was a cruiser also. cruisers will tend to get better rates than crotch rockets.

For any of you out there with good credit, current motorcycle insurance and at least 5 years of experience I have found that Dairyland has the best prices. I am an insurance agent and checked our bikes with Dairyland and Progressive and Dairyland was much cheaper. It all depends on your situation but Dairyland give discounts for homeownership, motorcycle safety course, good credit and alarm systems.

Check both companies and see what is best for you.

I have three bikes, 2 Harleys with full coverage and a Honda with just liability. I pay 465.00 a year for all three bikes.

You'r right- your age is the single biggest factor in determining your rates, followed closely by your driving record. A 34 year old with a good record can get full coverage on a sportbike for $33 a month. That's me.

On the same bike, a 17-year old with a couple speeding tickets could be looking at $400 per month.

I have a cruiser. Check Progressive. You can get it over the phone. I pay around 255/yr. I had an accident and they sent someone over the next day to photograph the bike. He gave me a check for repairs on the spot. My insurance did not go up at all.
Good Luck!

I pay $35 in retaining with month for finished coverage + medical, yet i'm 34 with a sturdy utilising record and four years using. as well, if you're pondering no longer having it, you probable don't have the adulthood to journey besides.
