It is the part of you that works and allows you to think if you have a brain injury. There was research on the TV a couple years ago that explained that the mind isn't part of the brain because of differnt brain injuries people have and they still have their minds. They kind of explained it being an invisible thread attachted to your brain and floats above your head like a balloon.

Your mind is where your memories are stored, all the things you've learned, experiences you've had, etc. It is seperate from your actual body, just as your spirit is separate. When you die, your mind and spirit are set free, while your actual body is left behind.

Anything else? Like ... do you mean a human mind as opposed to an animal mind? Animals also have memories. I'm sure they THINK as well, just not the same way people think. Animals use cause-and-reaction. The scent of danger, or prey.... instinct through experience, etc.
