There are many programs that will rip the dvd to your PC.

I recommend DVD Dycripter, or Nero.

DVD Decrypter is what I use, It breaks the css protection of copy protected dvds, which is great, here is a link to a site that explains the process step by step:

Also you can use the method from the answer above mine, but not if the dvd is copy protected, and you need ALL the files, not JUST the .VOBs You'll need the .IFO files and .BUP files as well.

i would say run the dvd on your comp for a few seconds to open up the files. then open the cd contents and got to VIDEO_TS folder and copy all the files ending with .VOB and you're done.
