Definitely crystal, or at least silver. Brass is a little tacky, and won't go with the silverware on the table

Question #1 can you cook to save your life? Because if you can't cook, I'm thinking the burned hamburger helper dinner is not gonna win points for our hero (you). Question #2 what did you do last year? Cook for her or take her out to eat at Red Lobster? If the answers don't suggest home cooking as a highly romantic activity, I would go for the Red Lobster. I have heard expensive dinners make a wife happy... Good Luck either way my brother.
