Ok, if a grown man:

Uses women's shower gel (purposely)
Has an 8x10 picture of his mother on his nightstand and mantle,
Reads cooking magazines,
Works in a hoity-toity resturant,
Drives his dead-for-8-years mother's car (and its a beater)
Nags and whines like a woman
Has an unusually high-pitched voice
and can't seal the deal in bed

is he gay?

Again this is NOT about me and my man! LOL I swear!

Nikki Newman -

If this guy, who, supposedly is not your man (or so you say) likes to pull men's pants down and sodomize them, or if he likes to put men's penises in his mouth,or if he likes to give other men handjobs, then he is gay or bisexual.

If he doesn't engage in any of the above behavior (or similar man on man activity) then he is heterosexual.

It's just that simple!!!!!

Believe it or not, incredible as it might seem, us heterosexual men have a wide variety of personality types.

You seem to be kinda prejudiced, and have a shokingly narrow idea of what a "real man" is!!!

There are lots of heterosexual men who work in fine dining restaurants - and, believe it or not, lots of those straight male restaurant workers read cooking magazines (the same way male carpenters read carpentry magazines, and male dentists read dental journals - it's job related!!!)

There are also lots of heterosexual men who have overly close relationships with their mothers (they are sometimes known as "mamas boys").

That doesn't make them gay.

That just makes them codependent (and, as you know, we don't have a monopoly on that - hell, there are plenty of straight women who are nauseatingly codependent on their mothers!)

On the nagging and whining stuff - there are plenty of women who aren't whiny at all and plenty of men who are. That's not a gender thing, that's a personality flaw!!

Finally, about the "sealing the deal in bed" thing (and I thought this guy wasn't your man? are you SURE about that?) - honestly, I've dealt with judgemental women like you, who have rigid ideas about gender roles.

And I couldn't "seal the deal" with them either!!

Why?

Simple!!

Because there's nothing that can deflate a ***** like a woman with a nasty attitude!!!

He can't get it up with you because you have a foul attitude - a guy would have to be frightingly dissasociated from his feelings to not be totally turned off by your sexist attitude towards men!!!

gay? who knows.
the dude is obviously not over the death (and probable over-controlling life) of his mother.
works in restaurant thus reads cooking mags. i do to find diabetic recipes.
nags and whines, the voice, the shower gel....he is leaning real far to the feminine side.
jsut be glad he is not your man and pray for your friend who has had relations with this limp wrister.

If he can't seal the deal on you in bed, why don't you try to seal the deal on him, then you will find out for sure !

no this doesnt mean hes gay
just because he acts the way he wants to doesnt mean he is gay. not every straight man wears plaid shirts and jeans and beats his chest to proves hes manly and considering most women say they want a sensitive guy...doesnt that sound like it to you? i wouldnt complain...or question his sexuality.

Why would you care? You say this is not your man. Leave him alone. Live and let live. This is just wrong. Would you like someone to tear you apart like this?

It don't mean he's gay,,,yet. Maybe a little testosterone treatment would help.
