I don't care at all what most people think of me, but yes, I do care what the people that I respect think. There aren't very many of those people out there though. It takes a lot to earn my respect...

Sure who doesn't? A person I respect is someone I see something in them I like.
Worst thing is to have such a person not want you around and/or you did something to mess up. I have a sister like this. I called her not long ago to just talk, after 14 years it was time. I tried before but she never would talk to me. Stubborn women but I am too.

So Yes sometimes one has to care....

I only care about what people think about me if they are ones that I respect and they respect me. Everyone else doesn't matter.

I care what my Mom thinks of me the most... My little sister: It's important to me that she see me as someone that she can look up to and respect.. outside of my family, though, not really. The world's general opinion means nothing to me.. at least not since I escaped adolescence..

1. People whom I respect
2. My family and relatives
3. My boss, since his opinion of me determines whether I get a raise.

I don't care what people as a whole think of me but in regards to the extremely few people i DO care about (not family), then i deeply care about their image of me.

No I can honestly say I could care less what the world thinks of me,as long as I am true to myself that is good enough. :)

Yes. Sometimes I wish I didn't care because I don't feel I've lived for myself.
