My child has baseball cards with a player that has the last name starting with every letter in the alphabet except for the letter " X " Has or is there one with the letter X?

There has never been a player with a last name starting with an 'X'. However, that will change in the next few years with the influx of Asian players.

Nope. There've been a few with first names (notably current Pirates outfielder Xavier Nady), but nobody with an X last name.

I googled Baseball Reference and went to their players list. They have no listing for anyone who's surname starts with 'X'.

according to http://www.baseball-reference.com (reccomended by a local TV broadcaster) there has never been a player with an 'X' last name..
