I seem to find so much information supporting nurture as being most important. I think that the brain is hardwired to respond to different stimuli, and the brain develops according to what stimulus is given to it. This sounds in my mind way too close to being an argument for nurture, which I am trying to stay away from.

The old argument of nature vs. nurture has never really been won. We do not yet know how much of what we are is determined by our DNA and how much by our life experience. But we do know that both play a part.

One thing I can tell you though, nurturing and teaching my children right from wrong and giving them sound beliefs and values thats definately helped make them positive valued members of society

Nature has nothing to do with Humans!

Everything, in the realm of and is a part of Nature has a purpose, a requirement! Everything in Nature supports something else in nature, its existence is required to support that what ever, other wise it would die, cease to exist.

Nature has created nothing that it does not require, nothing that it does not need!

Humans support NOTHING in nature! Nature has no requirement for humans. Humans support NOTHING in Nature!

Since Nature creates and maintains only what Nature needs to support what ever requirement in Nature, then, it is obvious, that Nature did not create Humans. There isn't any requirement, need, must have, or reason for Humans to exist as far as nature is concerned!

Humans do for Humans only, not Nature! They only destroy, tear down, abuse, misuse and seek to change Nature to their
liking. And Nature responds with earthquakes, eruptions, floods,
mud slides, avalanches, hurricanes and Tsunamis!

Still, Humans will not learn! Something brought Nature into existence, established the laws for every creature, each of its own kind, as a part of. Only Humans were left out!

Most of the arguments for nature are going to be scientific by definition. Most people, i.e. laymen, prefer to think that what they do makes all the difference in the world to how their progeny turn out.

You are constantly perfecting your activity in reality. As you coordinate the myriad multi-complex phenomenon you also change reality to coordinate with you. You have both natural and social elements that go into what you are now. And you can not stay away from yourself.
