I have this problem. I bring 2 cans of lipton iced tea to work with me. Last Friday they both were gone.. and Today.. well. I caught the culprit who took it. Now, I didn't make a scene, or even let him know that the soda was mine. I wanted some time to think about the issue on hand. How can I get revenge on this lunch stealer??

If you put a hole in the bottom of a non-carbonated drink, like iced tea, it will all drain out. Fill it with vinegar or tabasco sauce.....or better yet, super concentrated green vegetable dye to indicate the perp....and seal up the bottom with bubble gum, which hardens in the fridge. They will open the can and not notice because it is a non carb drink.

Revenge is a beverage best served cold.

Get the hottest chili pepper known to man (the produce guy might be able to help or you can Google it), put it in a blender with the seeds included and blend into a liquidy mush. Pour the mush onto the mouth opening area of several cans of tea and allow them to dry over night. In the morning, scrape the excess pepper off of the can but leave any residual juice to dry the rest of the way. Take the cans to work and let nature take it's course. This one should be fun to watch! Just be sure to have your most innocent look ready for when it happens, after all, you can't help it that you like a little pepper flavor with your tea, and how were you to know that someone else was going to drink it.

we have some lunch stealer in our office, too. but very picky, if the food is not gourmet or expensive, that person will not eat it, but don't bring shrimp or beef, that will be gone, before you know it. it was amazing that even those tv dinner will dis-appear. imagine, have a nerve to cook it in the microwave.

other employee is plotting to catch the thief, they even thought of some gruesome attack to who ever have a field day eating other people's food. we even create a big warning but that did not help.

since a lot of lunches were stolen, plenty of complain pile up to the manager and it was a hot topic in the meeting. the manager even threaten to terminate if they get caught. but everyone knew who it was. i guess, he cannot afford to buy lunch that is why he do that.

after that serious meetings, no more stealing lunches...

Revenge is never a good thing. You should confronted the person in the act. Tell them straight out that is your lunch that they are eating or in this case drinking and you do not appreciate them helping them self to your lunch. They apparently do not think you will or they would not be continuing to take your food. Mark the bottom of you items so you can positively identify them if confronted too. This way they can not say it is theirs if your name on it.

Get something really bad, in your opinion. I personally can't stand redbull but that's beside the point. Bring it as a lure. Write "BUSTED" on the cans. Keep your own soda in a thermal bag with a blue-ice next to you.

Write on the bottom of the can with a sharpie, "*Your name*'s tea. I STOLE THIS". He won't think to look at the bottom, but every time he tips it up to drink everyone will see that he is a thief.

if that is all he is stealing, it's hard to sabotage a soda. a sandwich on the other hand,,,,,
i made a sandwich out of colby cheese for weeks. one of the "other" employees started taking my sandwich and couldn't figure out who it was.
after a while i left my lunch in my purse and put a dummie in it's place. moldy cheese. never had a problem after that!!!

poke a tiny hole in a can of your tea and try to put salt in the hole , he wont drink it anymore, or right before you know he is going to take it, if you can be there in time, put super glue on the can.

Don't get revenge. That would make you so petty.
I'd say, tell the person that it was your drinks he stole, and that if he can't afford a lunch next time, ask you and you'll buy him one.
