No. And not because of America. While I think our country could handle a female president of the USA, I don't think the world can. I think our problems with Islamic extremists would intensify because of the way they view women. And they're not the only ones. A female president would cause a lot of diplomatic issues with countries that view women as less than men.

Yes America is ready. America is not only ready for a female President it is also ready for an African American President as well. This country needs to get out of the dark ages and set the example for the worlds leading nations to see. Margret Thacher was an excellent Prim Minister. I know some from the UK would disagree but she was great in the eyes of others. However, I draw the line if those of the female gender do not share my ideas and that is where it is my job to vote and if I had to vote a male President to see my ideas through then that is what I will do, no matter what gender or color.

i imagine the yankee people decide on a change, and that i do have self assurance we "the individuals" are waiting for that regulate. regardless of the indisputable fact that, i'm skeptical of that regulate happening given the historic custom of the yankee presidency being held via all white adult adult males (or a minimum of they look white, lol). period in-between, I purely sit and wait to confirm the outcome of this presidential race. extremely on account that i have discovered a huge lesson in the course of the 2000 presidential election. the position Gore gained the most properly-known vote and lost the election. What many voters don't understand is we flow into that sales area to vote for a particular human being it truly is on the poll, to grow to be the president (so we predict of). yet we are not quite balloting for that actual man or woman to win. Our vote is in reality a vote to decide on the Presidential electors from all the 50 states plus D.C. it really is the vote from the presidential electors of each state that count number and determines the subsequent president! Our votes are in hardship-free words used to decide on "Presidential electors" from our state and that is their votes that are offical, not ours...Does everybody see something incorrect with this procedure? i have discovered my lesson that 3 hundred and sixty 5 days...i grow to be deceived. i have also discovered that it really is difficult for individuals to interrupt loose from custom, and that i understand there are some those who ought to extremely die before they see a woman or black guy grow to be president of the U.S. hence, I gained't carry my breath.

I think it is sad to even ask this question. Ability should be the only prerequisite to the office. Sex, or race for that matter, should have nothing to do with ones ability to be successful. The fact that we even have to debate this "issue" as a society shows how far we have yet to come.

Yes, it is past time for a change, women are more organized than most men and will look at things quite differently, women will not be so quick to send our young men off to war, because mothers cherish their children more than men.;
