The mermaid was in love with a boy and the king of the seas granted permission to her to become a woman. At the end when she had to go back; the boy was in a little boat trying to look her shape under the water and suddenly she appeared and gave a necklace to him and disapeared under the sea. Since I was a kid, I have been in love of this film, but perhaps this never will be playing again. Good luck.

Plot Summary for Mr. Peabody and the Mermaid (1948)
As told to a psychiatrist: Mr. Peabody, middle-aged Bostonian on vacation with his wife in the Caribbean, hears mysterious, wordless singing on an uninhabited rock in the bay. Fishing in the vicinity, he catches...a mermaid. He takes her home and, though she has no spoken language, falls in love with her. Of course, his wife won't believe that thing in the bathtub is anything but a large fish. Predictable complications follow in rather tame fashion.

Mad About Men' is every bit as good as 'Miranda', although it doesn't pick up the pace until at least a third in. Caroline Trewella has gone to stay at her Cornish cottage for a few days when she meets her distant cousin, Miranda. Miranda wants to go back on land, so Caroline agrees to let her take her place whilst she goes out cycling with a friend. And the first thing Miranda does is to decide that Caroline needs a better fiancee!

there is this action picture the Disney Channel made referred to as The 13th year that is about this infant, a boy, on the swim crew who starts morphing right into a mermaid (Merman?). It seems he change into followed and his authentic mom is a mermaid. Admittedly the merely precise time I watched it i change into about twelve myself, I undergo in ideas it being an rather good action picture.

o my god i know exactly wat you are talking about and i love that movie too...omg i dont know wat the name is...arrggghhh it is gonna bug me now to...maybe it is splash??? i know that is about a mermaid but i havent seen it in a long time.....i dont know....but good luck finding the name of it and i would really like to know the name too...
