Barret is right to say you catch a cold from a virus. In fact, in very cold places viruses can't survive and people such is the Evenk and Inuit (Eskimos) very rarely catch colds.

You'd have more success suing the person who brought the cold virus into school.

You can try to sue for most anything. You are not going to win very much if you only catch a cold.

You can try, but in the end a cold is not extremely harmful in the long run (nor expensive) and it is most likely not worth risking the time and money.

A better alternative is to file a request with the local school board.

If you can easily prove there is no heat on, the school may have a problem with the Board of Ed or the State.

Plus, whilst it relatively is that chilly, then you definately could initiate stressful approximately your water strains freezing up!

You could probably sue if you developed hypothermia but not for a cold.

A cold comes from a virus, not from being in a cold classroom. :-)
