First, thank you for the information! At the age of about 32 I was told I had HPV. I never really knew what it was but was told it was sexually transmitted. I was married and had 3 small children and was told I needed to have biopsies done and was scared to death. I wondered where in the world I might have gotten HPV - my husband. Nope! My test came back fine and no one has ever said again that I had HPV. It was a very costly day at the doctor. At the age of 60, still no HPV or cervical cancer. At a cost of $360. for the shots should we wonder why it is being force on us to have our daughters and granddaughters vacinated. I read that they are doing some research that maybe it would be beneficial for the males to also take the vacination. But it would be further down the road for that. Would that prevent them from having cervical cancer? Oh, excuse me. I believe that it should not be forced on anyone and also that it is only another way for the pharmicuticle companies to get rich at the possible cost of our children. No way would I ever consent to having my daughter or granddaughters vaccinated. We are a nation of over medicated people as it is.

This is so scary. I'm with you, what LONG term studies have been done, but even if they have, what business is it of the government to tell me that my child HAS to have this vaccine, to basically protect her against herself? This is not a vaccine that would help prevent a devastating disease from spreading to others, such as the polio, measles or small pox vaccines. This is just more government interference in our lives. What will be next? What will we find out in the future? Will these same girls be unable to have children, or have children with disabilities, or maybe have some other debilitating disease as a result of this vaccine? How could anyone agree to this is beyond me. Pregnant women were given thalidomide back in the 50's and 60's to combat morning sickness, and look what happened. INADEQUATE TESTING. Women were given something in the 60's, 70's to help prevent miscarriage (can't think of the name). Now many of their children suffer as a result of this drug, by being either unable to have children of their own, or having some serious problems with their own reproductive organs. People need to wake up and fast. Government is getting way too big and interfering way too much and many are just sitting back and blindly following, not giving an ounce of thought to the consequences.

It is the law in Texas, all female children age 12 are to be vaccinated. Socialism at its finest! Don't forget to vote for Clinton, if you think it can't get worse. Socialized medical will take care of what ever rights parents might think you still have over your children which isn't much anymore. After all, now days, the girls can go for an abortion with the assistance of the school and parents don't have to be notified. Socialism, any form is taking away our rights as Americans. It is NOT part of what America has always been. You young people need to figure this out before all your rights are taken away. A little bit at a time. The school brain washed you kids growing up. It is a shame what you are willing to accept as OK. It is not OK for the Government to take care of you. It is not OK for the Government to control you or your children. Too many laws, too many rules.

Gardasil is not a live virus vaccine; it does not contain the HPV virus and therefore, cannot cause the HPV infection.
