Some have called Rudy a "liberal." I disagree... he is very much a neoconservative. He has the primary ingredients: hawkish interventionalist foreign policy, libertarian (business rights) economics, tough on crime (good or bad depending on who you ask... did wonders for New York though). I think he is probably the future of the Republican Party... for good or bad.

The Republican Party has pretty much abandoned the social issues base (to the grievance of the so-called "paleoconservatives" and religious organizations). Now their focus is on foreign policy (big time), business rights and crime. I guess they're thinking about the future. The younger generation prefers pro-choice, pro-gay rights candidates. Neoconservatives usually talk though (such as calling for phony pro-life amendments that had no chance of passing) to appease religious groups - that is one thing Rudy won't be doing.

I don't know if I'll vote for him yet - still wait to see how things unfold.

I think he's the best chance the Republicans have at this point. He needs to beat Hilary we won't survive 4-8yrs of Hilary just watch Hannity and Colmes when Dick Morris is on and he'll tell you what she's like. Also, whose big idea was it to run Barack Obama? The guy was a nobody before the media built him up. Both of them easily crushed by Giuliani if he decides to run.

He had to pull out of the Senate race vs Hillary due to Prostate cancer. He has women problems. If he runs, he should run for the Mayor of LA. He was a great mayor in NY, President-No Way!

How is he going to get past the right-wing nuts? Married three times. The third wife was his mistress while he was married to his second wife.

He is known by other politicians as "does not play well with others."
"A divider, not a uniter." Do we need another one of those?
