I like it, and I like it spelled just the way it is, if you change it to Kale, it will be just like the cabbage. I went to school with a guy named Cale Gundy and he's now a football coach at Oklahoma State University....and he's cute. Maybe your Cale will end up to be a college football coach that is hot too! lol.

Caleb is better and then you can call him cale for short! Just remember, Kale is the name of a type of cabbage so he might be teased when he's older.

I know a person that named her son Cale Slade. Personally, I like Cade better.

Sorry, but I don't like it. All I can think of is kale, the leafy vegetable. Plus, Cale just doesn't have a pleasant sound to it, in my mind. It almost sounds "harsh".

I think it's cute, though i personally prefer the spelling Kale, but that's cabbage. But since it's too close to the name of a veggie, may i make a suggestion? How about Caleb, Caley,Clae(Clay) or Cole?

i think it's perfect. a good strong name and something finally a little different. there is nothing wrong with the spelling, definitely don't change it to Kale.
