On my homework, this is the only problem with a number outside the parenthesis. I am looking through my notes and the book and it doesn't say how to solve it.
FYI, ^2 and ^3 is to the second power and to the third power if you didn't know. So that would be (14x+3-41x squared +x cubed)

This goes under adding and subtracting polynomials.

Since you are just adding a subtracting, the parenthesis don't mean anything...you can disregard them and solve it like the others

since you're adding and there is no multiple outside of the brackets, you can just disregard them.

this is the same as 8x + 14x + 3 - 41x^2 + x^3
= x^3 - 41x^2 + 22x + 3

no longer adequate options to sparkling up for x, yet you could component: 8x^2 - 14x + 3 = 8x^2 - 12x - 2x + 3 = 4x(2x - 3) - (2x - 3) = (4x - a million)(2x - 3) If 8x^2 - 14x + 3 = 0, then: 4x - a million = 0 or 2x - 3 = 0 4x = a million or 2x = 3 x = a million/4 or x = 3/2 x = 0.25 or x = a million.5

(14x+3-41x squared +x cubed)

Add like terms together:

22X+3 - 41X^2 +X^3

Generally we put the highest order ( biggest exponent ) term first:

x^3 - 41x^2 + 22x + 3
