What you seem to be missing is that Smallville does take a lot of creative license with its characters and how they are introduced...
Yes in the comics and even on Lois & Clark, Lois and Clark did get married...however they didnt actually meet until Clark left Smallville, graduated college and started work at the Daily Planet... in this world too, the same is true for Lex.
Jonathan is still alive and there is no Lionel Luther on the canvas.
However that being said, in the DC Comics realm, there have always been alternate Earths each with its own set of Characters and some slight variations of history, so with all being said...it is very possible that Smallville is someone's variation of an Alternate Earth and I would buy that...although I am not sure we will ever get a happy resolution to Lois and Clark as a couple on Smallville..
What I would really like to see introduced though is Wonder Woman or Princess Diana on Smallville...Bruce Wayne anyone?

There won't be a Mrs. Clark Kent ON Smallville, but if the series continues on into Metropolis, then Clark Kent and Lois Lane do end up married. It takes a while, but it does happen.

Lois has always been the primary object of affection for the adult CK. Lana has invariably been his teen interest.
The comics recently reset the timeline again with 'Birthright'
Chloe from SV was never depicted in the DCU prior to the series, and is a compilation of assorted aspects historically applied to both Lana and Lois.(Lana in 1993 comics, and 'Superboy series' is more like Chloe than Lana in SV)
In season 4 Clark was dosed with Red K and went to Vegas and Married Alicia, a MF teleporter, and they married.
Personally unless they do a 5 year flash forward marking a new direction for the show I see a Clark/Lois as a shark jumper

Yes. Lois Lane will marry Clark Kent. Some people (and as much as I like her, they are delusional) think that Chloe will somehow assume Lois' identity and be THE Lois. Again, they are delusional. The wheel is turning, but their hamster is dead...

In the comics he marries Lois but that's long time since his Smallville days.

I think things might have turned out better because in season 1 Clark and Lex were friends with each other. one of the many reasons why Lex became a darker character was because Lex was almost always honest with Clark but Clark chose to keep lying about his abilities.
