NBC's "Heroes" is one of my current favorite shows on television! (I can't stand "Grey's Anatomy", and I find "24" watchable only if I've got absolutely nothing else to watch.)
It's very well-written and thought-provoking. I think it's among the current "cream of the crop" of TV offerings.
Nerds unite! ;)

Nah, you're not the only one watching.....
I watch it too....I missed the first episode, but since I don't have cable I can't really catch up now, can I? It's okay though.
I think the big thing with "Heroes" is that a lot of the people who are watching it are people who don't *normally* watch much TV regularly, so they really don't go all out for it. They--we really, since I am one of them--aren't really used to the idea of *liking a TV show enough to be a fan of it*, so we don't *do* the fan things, like taping/TiVoing it, or looking it up online, etc.
I guess you could say some of us are waiting for the other shoe to fall and for things to go to crap. Because it's *TV* and they always do at some point.
Here's hoping that takes a few years though, or that at least folks will have enough sense to *quit* before the show goes bad.
Just my two cents, never mind me. :)
Oh, one more thing.....if the family trees of a certain cheerleader get any *more* twisted....*lol* Geez...is someone out to turn Claire-Bear into the show's *Kevin Bacon* or what?? *rofl* =))

My kids and I count the minutes until it comes on! My 16-year-old thinks Peter Petrelli is "hot" and my 11-year-old and I think Hiro is adorable. It was cool seeing George Takei on the show tonight as Hiro's father.

My moneys on Hero getting cancelled within 2 seasons. Looks like expensive show to run.

I am not certain why you feel you can only watch one or the other show. You can watch both and enjoy the way they are nothing alike.
