I read your vitriolic rants against Fox News and how it is strictly "propaganda" on a daily basis. I do not see it. While many (though not all) its commentators are conservatives, I have never seen so much as one iota of bias in either direction in an actual news story.

If you disagree, could you please share an example with the rest of us? Please note: I asked for an EXAMPLE, not "They love Bush", etc...

Peace: Please re-read the question. I've looked at the first page of your link, and have yet to find anything related to NEWS, strictly commentary. Bill O'Reilly doesn't purport to be a newscaster. You DO understand the difference, don't you?

Argle: Please see my response to Peace. There's a difference between news and commentary.

2007-02-05 16:02:49 · update #2

Argle: Actually, the State of the Union ios the PERFECT time for commentary. It is done on every single network which carries the address...with the possible exception of C-SPAN.

united: After a loooong response, it becomes even more painfully obvious that you do not, in fact, understand the difference between news and commentary. Let me try translating it into left-speak: News is what you find at the top of each hour, and commentary is what Olbermann does. I can hardly believe I have to explain this to you. You seem intelligent, yet you have this big blind spot caused by your hatred of Fox News. I don't care if you like, watch, or believe anything you see on Fox, but please divorce fantasy from reality.

I am not sure why there are some who are so dead set against FOX News. I watch national news pretty much all day, off and on. I like to keep up with what is going on around me. I do watch a few shows that are not on FOX. I pick and choose the ones I want to watch. I do not want to see a news program that tells me how I am suppose to feel or think. I will make up my own mind. I feel I get a pretty broad range of information. I do like a lot of the programing on FOX.
I'm not sure where the FOX bashers thinks "FOX loves Bush", I do not see that. I wonder if this is a case of "follow the leader". They don't really watch but are parroting what they have been programed to repeat.

Tiocfaidh Ar La, hhhhmh, firstly, what question are Fox News bashers supposed to re-read? The question: "A question for all the Fox News bashers?" Since I'm also being singled out as having made "vitriolic rants" that are strictly :"propaganda" on a DAILY BASIS. Did I use the phrase "daily basis." Yes, Fox News has been reported to hype up propaganda, bias, errors and noted imbalances (a far cry from what Fox News attempts to promote itself as "Fair and Balance. As to your " While many (though not all) its commentators are conservatives, I have never seen so much as one iota of bias in either direction in an actual news story", perhaps, you might want to check out the contents to note instances of propaganda, errors, and pure opinionated hypes from Fox News in the following links. Take your pick of the examples of propaganda, errors and mosinformation you need:

How do I define "propaganda". Exactly as the way misinformation and distorted hypes are being expressed as explained in:

Remember how the Nazis use strategic propaganda to instill Nazi Patriotism between 1933 to 1945?

As to your suggestion that the first page of my link is unrelated to NEWS, and that "Bill O'Reilly doesn't purport to be a newscaster. " And to your question if I "DO understand the difference....? Maybe, you might want to answer why O'Reilly's Factor is BROADCASTED under broadcast on the Fox NEWS Channel? Yes, how I wish the whole of America does realize that he's nothing more than a mere opinionated Commentator and stop deceiving his audience that he, and he, alone gushes out the truths. Ever watch him and Sean Hannity cutting off their INVITED guests from finishing off what they had to say? And see how arrogant and insulting they treat their guests by saying that the guests were on their shows and they, O'Reilly and Hannity, command control of what should be said? That's utter bias behavior coming from them. Why bother having guests on their shows if these hosts only want to hear their own voices and self-important opinion???

Don't forget: One man's meat may be another man's poison! And people have the right to see any broadcaster's distortion and propaganda as poison!

By the way, I watch everything. It opens my eyes as to why people react, think, and behave in different ways. And what souces of distorted info have influenced/forced them to believe what they believe!!!!

I look at it this way. Fox saw an empty nich ( a media that wasnt liberal in the USA ) and took it.

And well they are far and away ahead in ratings above any of the others. How could this be if they are so republican conservative biased and 70+% people are against this Iraq situation?
It would only make sense that they would be sick of the alleged bias and watch something else.

Personally I dont watch TV so I really don't care.

Please, everybody knows Fox is slanted strongly to the right. It's not a secret. Do you think listing Mark Foley as a Democrat was a mistake, or spreading the Hillery/Obama smear story as fact. Moody had to scold the " Faux & Fiends " hosts for that one. He stated " They really don't know what they are talking about." He was right, and it goes on and on. Check out this website for a daily listing of the slant. They watch Fox so you don't have to.http://www.newshounds.us/

I watched the State of the Union on Faux. Brit Hume let out a stream of swill about "So and so is a liberal", and "he is about as liberal as you can get" etc ad nauseam. He had nothing but praise for cons.

Listen up Sparky - During the State of the Union. Hardly the time to be inserting "commentary" dontcha think? Not "fair" and hardly "balanced" yourself are you?
