Yes. From what I have research all of this is normal, as a matter of fact, most web sites will list spotting and cramping as an early pregnancy symptom. This is (from my understanding) due to implantation. And is most likely to happen right around (I would assume within a few days, before or after) you would normally start your period.
Also, if you look up early pregnancy symptoms on line, most of the sites will tell you, that they are so much like PMS symptoms that it is frustrating to tell them apart from eachother.
I would say that if you have had a positive pregnancy test, and are very early in your pregnancy that you can probably relax unless the cramping and bleeding get worse.
You may also want to consult your physician to confirm that your pregnancy is going well so far and to set your mind at ease.

Best Wishes!

Bleeding during early preganacy (3-4 weeks) may be normal due to implantation of the egg which may, in some cases cause bleeding. However, bleeding accompanied with cramping are not good signs. They could be signs of a miscarriage, although there is no certainty. I say this because I had cramping early in my pregnancy due to the stretching of the uterus as told by my doctor. However, I did not have any bleeding. My advise would be to go to your doctor and have him/her give you an ultrasound and determine what the problem is. Best of luck to you, hope everything turns out okay.

when i was about 10 weeks pregnant i had bad cramping and some spotting, i went to the doctors and they said that it was prolly around the same time i should have started my period. but you really should go to the doctors because spotting and cramping good be the beganing of a misscarriage (not to scare you but i just want to make sure you see a doc so you and your baby is ok)

Call you OB/GYN immediately with any bleeding. Though it is possible to safely have some bleeding during pregnancy, it is always something that should be discussed with your doctor. He/she is trained to make the call on whether you/your baby need immediate medical attention.

It could be nothing- I bled with my second child--- but you are pregnant and I assume you want to be so see a doctor ASAP-- like tonite- the ER and don't drive--- they'll do the ultrasound-- make sure it's not a rupture and you'll go home and sleep peacefully---also if you are leaking/bleeding- BEDREST will be on the menu until further notice from your gyno......good luck to you---go tonite- seriously, don't wait.
