I was very irregular and the doc said I wasn't ovulating. He also told me I would never get pregnant without some major help. So I went on the pill to regulate. I stopped taking it for a few weeks just because , and boom, I got pregnant immediately. 9months later a baby girl. 10 months after her another one, lol. It can happen, so just wait it out and see.

Ok, relax. You do not have to be regular to get pregnant. I am not regular. It took me longer to conceive because I had to track my cycle every month, I found out that I ovulate any day between cycle day 10and 17, but I now have a beautiful daughter, and there is nothing saying that the same cannot happen for you.
If you are irregular, there is a good chance that you do not ovulate on cycle day 14 like most women who have a 28 day cycle.
My best suggestions to you are:

1. Make sure that you are have sex at least 3 days a week

2. Start Charting your temps (this will not let you know that you are ovulating until after it happens, but at least you will know that it is happening), if you need help try www.fertilityfriend.com or just to a web search

3. Invest in a fertility monitor or ovulation test strips (keep in mind that these do not work for everyone, read the instuctions carefully, and remember that it is normal to have 1-2 months a year when you do not ovulate)

Best of luck!

Yes, it is possible to get pregnant if you are not regular. I know lots of women who got pregnant...mainly because they weren't regular so they could not predict when they were going to ovulate.
To be quite serious, just have sex everyday and you'll end up pregnant eventually.
Keep a journal, though. Many women can feel pulling in one or both ovaries around ovulation, increase in temperature, slight ankle swelling and many other "symptoms" that indicate ovulation. If you keep a journal for a few months, even without regular periods, you'll be able to detect those symptoms and know when you are ovulating.
Also, RELAXATION is a good thing. Don't worry about getting pregnant, it will happen when you least expect it.

It's entirely possible to get pregnant with irregular periods. My sister has 5 kids to prove that!

I'd start by taking a prenatal vitamin to make sure that you are getting enough folic acid. Make sure that you're getting good nutrition and sleep. There are some books out there, if you go to Barnes and Noble and start perusing the shelves, that give some great information.

I started the prenatals and gave up caffeine and three months later, I was pregnant after almost 6 years without ANY form of birth control.

Good luck!

I had VERY irregular periods and went through 4 years of ttc and fertility treatments only to fall pregnant naturally before having to resort to IVF.

So in short you can fall pregnant if you are irregular but it may take a LOT longer.

If you have tried for 12 months it is recommended that this is then the time you should see a specialist.

I am 37 weeks pregnant..................all good things come to those that wait......

yes it is possible just go to a doctor and find out whether you can be put on the pill for about a year that is what I did, and after a year it was now monthly not 5 weekly.

Hope that is hopeful,

yes, it is possible, but you need to know when you are ovulating, they make ovulation tests, just like pregnancy tests, I suggest using those at least for one cycle so you know when you are ovulating. without knowing that it can take a while. fertilityfriend.com is a charting website but they also have a lot of information as well as babycenter.com

It is likely that your husband has a low sperm count. The average couple has a 12% chance of getting pregnant any given month. You might want to consult with a fertility doctor.
