he can't even say hello when we pass eachother in the living room. I think that's wierd and that he's socially inept.

So be socially apt and take the first step to brake the wall. People come from different backgrounds and joys and pain. Sometimes is hard to say hello but they crave someone to do so.

Well at least you dont have a roommate that likes to dress up as a pirate and belly dances. Oh did I forget to mention that shes almost 200lbs, try watching that dance routine
