There is a lotion called Plamers coco butter that is made just for soon to be moms with streaching bellies.

I know what you are talking about and it drives you crazy lol. Plamers coco butter is what I used. They have several kinds and make sure you don't get the one that is to firm your skin because you will end up with more streach marks.. Anyway just apply several times a day like when you wake up in the morning, sometime in the afternoon, and after you shower, then before you go to bed.

You don't have to do it at all those times but more so after you take a shower because your skin is more willing to take in the viatims and such in the lotion and because you washed away alot of the other lotion that was on you. Also before you go to bed because I remember waking up several times at night scratching lol.

Anyway congrats and best wishes :)

A number of times i found that it was the products i was using in a bid to avoid stretch marks - suddenly my body would develop a rash from them.

You could just be stretching and that is what is making you itchy. I am 37 weeks and havent really had a problem since i started using bio oil after my morning shower and Dove moisturiser at night. I dont think i have taken this much care of the skin on my face - so it amuses me the lengths i am going to to keep my tummy nice given that it rarely ventures out in public.

Yes, it is very normal!!! I have been itching for some time now and I'm just shy of 12 weeks. I started using Coco Butter anti-itch soothing oil, (sold at motherhood, Walmart) and it works very well for me, plus it is recommended for stretch marks (don't know if that will work). My doctor also recommended Aveeno. Everyone has a different reaction to different creams and oils, try and get sample sizes to find which one works for you best.
Congratulations!!

this is normal....it itches because your skin is stretching at a very fast pace. DO NOT scratch your belly! If you buy some Palmer's Cocoa Butter for Stretch Marks it will help a little and won't harm your baby at all. You can find the cocoa butter at stores like kmart, walmart, target, walgreens, cvs, and I believe motherhood maternity has it too.

yes the itching is normal. It is cause by the stomach stretching. the best way to ease it is to apply a lotion. get a lotion especially for preventing stretch marks in pregnancy,,it soothes the itching better then ordinary lotion and adds moisture to the skin while it is stretching to help prevent getting stretch marks

yes it is normal , sometimes the itching is also caused by the dry skin with the stretching belly , i suggest you should try pure vitamin-e , along with some cocoa butter lotion , one to stop the stretch marks from being as bad as they could be by helping to heal most of the damage ,{ vitamin-e] the other to help keep your skin moisturized. these two really did a great job for me. remember, make sure its pure vitamin-e and pure cocoa butter .

Ugg, Yes. Think about it. Your belly is just now really starting to streach. The more it streaches the more it will itch. And once you give birth...it's so much worse. There is nothing I found that really stopped. Some really rich lotion is the only thing that helped

Oh yes it is normal!! I am 6 months and my itchy belly drives me nuts!!! Try Tummy Honey butter and Tummy Honey stick, I love the stick because it is non messy and you can carry it in your purse to use when away from home. It helps a lot with mine!

go to your local drug store and get a stick of pure cocoa butter .. there are no other ingredients in that its pure and works wonders. i still use it 20 something years later .. i wont use anything else as lotions contain alcohol which is very drying to skin and that is why you need to keep reapplying it . read the label !! yes Vitamin E oil is also very good you can get the capsules as well and stick a pin in them to get the oil out .
