i think it is when applied appropriately. a little longer nail.... not long, but not so short it will make your hands look like a little kid. also maybe try a deep plum or deep deep reddish tint?

There's a reason Chanel's Black Satin nail polish is on like six month back order. Dark nail polish is HUGE right now. If you don't want to go with black, try a dark red or OPI's Black Tie Optional (black with a hint of dark purple). Wear it with confidence!

I think black nail polish is a versatile color that works for everyone just like wearing a black shirt or leggings goes well with almost everything. Don't listen to people who think you're emo / goth cause I don't believe in those things either so if I get told that I just ignore it cause it doesn't and shouldn't bother me. People only think it's goth or emo because that's the stereotypical goth / emo person who wears all black and stuff. It's really lame but that's just how the world is today, judgemental & stereotypical.

yes it is "IN" according to all the magazines. All of the stylish stars are wearing it plus it matches like everything!!!!!!!! But me I'm not sure if I'd wear it because I really don't like the look of it. It used to only be for emo people and gothic people so that's why I still am not going to wear it.
