What compliment could President Bush give about Obama that would not be considered racist?

In an interview with President Bush when asked what he thought of Obama as President he said "He's an attractive guy. He's articulate,". Many have spun this as a racist comment. Is there any compliment President Bush could have made that could not have been considered racist or will all compliments towards Obama by any candidates be considered racist?

I believe that there is NOTHING that President Bush can say or do that will not be considered wrong in some way by the left. I don't think he should even worry about anything they say anymore, it's all drivel.

I think people would have liked that more. I wonder if Obama took it as racist or as a compliment...

while did the be conscious "racist" exchange into the recent be conscious for "stupid"? no person stated Bush grew to become into racist, only stupid. Obama is attempting to freshen up the mess Bush made, and is doing a surprisingly respectable interest of it, so consistent with probability it is why human beings think of he's a "hero".
