Marc Rich (born Marc David Reich on December 18, 1934) is an international commodities trader. He fled the United States in 1983 to live in Switzerland while being prosecuted on charges of tax evasion and illegally making oil deals with Iran during the hostage crisis.
He received a presidential pardon from United States President Bill Clinton in 2001, which required him to pay a $100 million fine before the charges would be dropped.
Most recently, Marc Rich was linked to former United States Vice Presidential Chief of Staff Lewis "Scooter" Libby. Libby served as Rich's lawyer as far back as 1985 and charged him US$2 million for legal fees.
Rich was born to a Jewish working class family in Antwerp, Belgium in 1934. The Riches immigrated to the United States in 1942 to avoid the Nazis. Young Marc attended high school at the Rhodes School in Manhattan. He later attended New York University, but dropped out after one semester to go work for Philipp Brothers

Bill pardoned about 50 criminals right before he left office.
Rich is the highest profile one.
The 'funniest' one was the guy, and I dont remember the name, who had been jailed on tax evasion but also for sex with a subordinate ( like bill only this guy's was a minor i believe ).
So what happens after he pardons this guy. Jesse Jackons hires the guy to be a youth counselor for his Rainbow Coalition.
Now this was right around the time Jesse was being Bill's marriage counselor , simultaneous to the time that Jesse was having an affair with some girl he got pregnant. Remember and then he said his wife was like precious as diamonds or something like that and of course his wife took him back.
Man Jerry Springer couldnt come up with a better show.

Clinton pardoned a lot of criminals. Most weren't Jewish. Why do you only mention the Jew? Never mind, I know the answer.

I don't think the fact that he is Jewish had anything to do with it. I think the fact that he was lining Bill's pockets, did.
