A recent Internet Explorer 7 automatic upgrade had made it impossible for me to even use the IE Browser now, I had no problems with IE 6 , what i sthe problem ?

The page loads and says page canno tbe displayed
I took Internet Explorer 7 off the computer but I still get the same thing with 6

Internet Explorer 7.0 is having few compatibility issues, you may alternative try accessing internet using the Mozilla Firefox browser as Internet Explorer 7.0 is causing some issues. You may download it from http://www.mozilla.com or http://www.download.com

Even though IE7 is out in full version, there are still some bugs in it that cause problems for many people who install it. This is very common with microsoft updates. If you had removed IE7 from add/remove programs and reverted back to IE6, chances are that if you let install again with your automatic updates, it will install fine.

what kind of problem? does it not open? does it open and close? go to start, control panel, add/remove programs and make sure "show updates" is checked (near the top) and then uninstall IE 7
