I grew up with my dad and brothers my mom left when I was 6 yrs old... I Never got the talk from my dad...We learned it all in school in the 6th grade by then I was smart to it all I had already gotten my period (which was hard living with my dad and brothers) my friends mom helped me out with that and everything..then when i was about 15 my dad had a lady friend come take me shopping to lunch the movie to discuss it LOL I was like HELLO I have had my period for like 3 years now and my first bra on my own since 6 th grade LOL I am 35 now ..My daughter is 13 and they learned Full Blown SEX education at her school in the 4 th grade which I think is appropriate now a days since these kids are so much more advanced then we were plus they develop faster too with all the products like cows and chickens being Injected with Hormones ..

I think I was around 9 or 10.. and I was disgusted and confused on how it ever donned on people do to that.. I mean, who sits around all day and goes.. "hey, i wonder would would happen if we put this into this and moved it around a little..."
Anyways, I was confused on why anyone would want to do that and who was the first person to even think of doing that... so I kept bugging my mom, until eventually she told me she wasn't going to answer anymore of my questions and she just have me a book by the American Girls to explain the rest (which really didn't explain anything)
My friends explained the rest.

My mom told me about the changes that were going to take place in my body when I was about 9. As for sex, it was never mentioned. I had to learn about it on my own. I had an idea of what was supposed to happen, but I wasn't sure until I actually lost my virginity at the age of 20.

My parents never told me. But i had the discovery channel and then someone invented the internet and wow look at all the information on there. So guess i could say i knew everything there is to know by age 10

Mine never did, or about anything remotely related. When I was about 11, my mom bought me a stack of books called "The Life Cycle Library." I guess she figured that was good enough.
