Your question reminds me of a short story by C.M. Kornbluth called "Ms. Found In a Chinese Fortune Cookie". It's about a writer who dicovers "The Answer"(the Diagonal Relationship) and wants to print it, but is opposed by a mysterious faction of anonymous and rich writers. He is abducted and drugged, but manages to print the Answer on the tiny slips of paper that go into the fortune cookies that they employ the patients at the asylum to make. A friend of his (the narrator of the story) finds part of The Answer in a cookie that he gets at a Chinese restaurant. It is incomplete; he then urges all people to carefully read the fortunes that they find in the cookies because one of them may contain a very important message for all mankind.

The fortunes are so vague that they can apply to anyone, so yes, it has come true. I've also had some that told me what kind of personality I have and they were pretty far off.

Fortune cookies don't give predictions anymore. All fortune cookies do now is give you advice like "If you love them, they will love you" and other stuff like that.

i think all of those fortunes are tru for everyone... the fortunes are based on life, so everyone will come across the furtune eventually
