Ah, but 69 is divisible by 23 (coincidence?).
That's about the only one that's not a coincidence. Some of them even stretch the point (i.e., by taking a full date of death, but only the year of birth). There's no special "power" to the number 23.
Look, I was born on the 23rd (roughly a one in 30 chance of that), but had a roommate in college who was born the exact same date & same time as I was. Odds against that are staggering, but it has to happen occasionally (the same thing can be said of dying on your date of birth -it's rare, but it does happen on rare occasions).
You could use other numbers & come to similar conclusions about their "power". John Lennon had an obsession with the number 9, which played a significant role in his life. Chinese culture recognizes 8 as a lucky number, while Western cultures view 7 as a lucky number. 13 is viewed as an unlucky number, but also as a powerful number, the number in a coven -Jesus had 12 apostles (12 +1 =13). 6 is seen as the number of incompletion, and 666 as the number of the devil. Statistically, lots of numbers have significance depending on how you view the statistics.

How about the number 27? Weird stuff there too. But a friend of mine has noticed the 23 thing for years.
