If reports are correct he is actually happy in Sac and wants to stay. And considering that he is playing well now and is thier only real defensive presence he probably won't be traded. Also note that he only makes about $7 million a year which is a steal for his talent.

I think Artest is too valuable to the team at this point to trade him. He might have been a cancer to the Pacers but with the Kings he's found how to lead. I'd expect them to trade Bibby and unload his contract and his matador defence.

well first you have to ask who would want him? if you were a GM, would you want a huge cancer on your team? because of that it might be difficult to trade him. perhaps the kings can send him back to NY so he can be at home. but what would you get back? theyre not trading marbury or frye or lee or curry.
